What are the major differences between Saved Searches and Reports?

Hi Guys,

I know this is one of the most frequent question asked here. But, most of the users prefer to use Saved searches instead of Reports. In which way, we can use Reports in a better way and what's the advantage of the reports over Saved searches (Apart from Trial Balance, Income Statement, Sales By Item....Reports)
