Setting Up Historical Balances in OneWorld Suiteanswer ID7705
I tried following the instructions in the Suiteanswer to set a second consolidated historical exchange rate for a subsidiary's equity accounts, but the rate did not stick going forward. Created the 2 journal entries to enter a balance at a rate different from the nominal historical rate for the starting period and then reverse it. The account balance at this point is zero. Entered a new amount for the starting period but it picked up the "current rate" for the period, not the special historical rate entered in the prior period. The process seems to make sense (scary, I know),
