Does NetSuite advise against using Admin' for integrations? Examples?
Hello.
I have an integration that is very lazy; they insist we simply use admin' role.
I want to create a custom role to give them what they need.
Based on my training, the use of root or admin' is to be avoided.
Numerous articles of all kinds exist explaining why this is to be avoided.
Further, NetSuite has been slowly but surely peeling more & more permissions off of Admin' role (deprecated Full Access), and moving those into purpose-built roles. NetSuite disallows passwords for this role for integrations.
I need an article or two to use as a guide in explaining why we can not allow the admin' role to be used for integrations & we need to build a role for the integration. Can anyone help please. If there were an Oracle or a NetSuite article, this would be helpful.
