Want to restrict parent Account for entry

Can we restrict any Parent Accounts for Entry. So that user can do entry in Child Account only.

Like:
Parent Account: Advances (Restrict for Entry-Non posting Account)
Child Account:   Imprest to Staff (Open for Entry - Posting Account)
