Go To Record Not Updating Field

I am using the "Go to record" action as part of a workflow. The actions is executed and the record opens in edit mode as set in the action.

The problem is that the fields that I set to be updated does not update.

The parameters of what I expect to happen are showing in the URL, but the field does not update.

The field I need to update is Project Status

What should I be looking for?
