and a related question. most of our users dont come directly to the webstore, they come to our info site. Can i create a landing page there that generates a cookie that the store will pick the partner code from?

I completely agree with the OP. I was able to make other templates into really nice sites when I used low cost e-commerce only sites. Because I cant afford to hire someone who is good enough to hack around the netsuite templates Im just stuck with a site that is not very good looking.

turns out to be a defect from back in Sep. Workaround is not great for us as we really need this to be dynamic. Shawn, You are even going further than I was thinking. I was thinking of creating a product note using the basic NS tags (pictures, names, prices) plus a add to cart button and use the existing NS cart. Could you describe a little more your thought process behind what you are doing.

Considering that there are dozens and dozens of shopping carts that offer fedex, ups and usps, I have a hard time understanding why it would be an issue for netsuite. It has to be some kind of design flaw.

Ill join the case, but feel free to also let UPS know that this will get me over to Fedex.

Another classic case of a feature that is on every other e-commerce software made in the last 5 years, including the free open source platforms, but that is not included in the base NS package.

In year and a half on Netsuite and proably 20 hours with tech support, we have never been able to get sales taxes to work. It seems like some accounts just break.

Thanks. As far as I can tell the CNAME redirect is working as it does redirect to shopping.netsuite.com, but then nothing happens after that. Is there somthing more I have to tell the ISP other than the CNAME directions so that it sends whatever it needs to send for netsuite to detect our store name?
