Could you clarify where do you want to see the employee image on the homepage? Please note that homepage is not customizable. However, would creating a Custom portlet with Portlet Script to show image be feasible on your end? -Mikko

You are correct, id 3 is for administrator role. To use the NetSuite2.com data source, you need to create a custom role that has the required permissions. Administrator role cannot use the said data source. See article for reference. -Mikko
