Same here.. too often i have a 2nd page generated on a transaction but for a single line - has to be a better way than this! Seamusmon

Would you have, by chance, custom forms and the one that loads from an Opp happens to be different than the one you're working on?
-
or even try pressing the ctrl and + buttons at the same time to enlarge and ctrl and - at the same time to reduce - works in most browsers. ( it's an adobe trick )

Hi bdysert There are many very helpful folks on this forum but you still need a basis of knowledge to get going. Looking at code is good, printing off the dev guide ( yeah,it's huge ) and absorbing it helps too. Sometimes it's a matter of engaging an outside company for the first script and code and then analyze and…

we do the batch invoicing option right now.. but believe it or not even that is seemingly one step too many for most folks here so i'm trying to make this as simple as picking up what's on the printer for hard copy filing.. Waiting on 2013.1 deployment so that i can set the invoice run at a set time instead of the every…

Hi Allesio, Let me know if anyone answers.. i have a very very similar question posted some 3 weeks ago that not a single person ( and sadly no one from Netsuite ) can or is willing to answer. Look up my alias SeamusMon under Suitescript / Custom Code and you'll see my two posts there along with a field of crickets.

hmm.. cant have everyone here ( including NS folks ) stumped with this simple request?
-
Hi Olivier You guys have done work for me before.. and you're one of the premier "helpers" out there in the user group so i appreciate your quick answers.. What would this functionality set me back cost wise? I get the feeling it's not a priority for Netsuite to address and this strike has underscored the need for us to do…

Not yet, I was hoping that one of you guru's ( you or Nick ) would chime in or Netsuite but seeing as nobody has here i think i found a flaw and will indeed file a case. Thanks Olivier
-
Thanks Folks for the speedy replies.. I'll give this a spin!

Hi Folks, It's the same issue that i'd like to resolve as well, too many errors in having gear shipped to the wrong company all because of that default coming up.. I see how the coding works but how do i determine the sublist line item # value so that i can pass that parameter in to use the…

Hi Walt! Hope you get this one fixed, it worked great for us the first time around and "broke" when NS updated. Shaun

You can do that, but also dont forget that in your "Transaction form layout" PDF lay out that you can add that fied as it's own element and that you should have the option of displaying or hiding the tag - so just the data would show. I've heavily customised my PDF's and do this all the time.

Same issu here... if you arbitrarily change the invoice customer master default you end up orphaning the SO and it'll still want to be fulfilled.. you either A. Do as the Wiz of Oz has mentioned. B. Create under the same customer as originally billed a sub-address for the new address... this does not orphan the SO however…

Hi Paul, I'm definitely interested and when he's ready i would like to contact him and if reasonable purchase this code.. Truly sad that this ( what i would consider base functionality ) still isnt available for bulk PDF "customised" invoicing in 2012. :h_a_w:

Krish is correct and the easy way to see this is, if you're on the invoice already, "More Actions" pull down and select "GL Impact"
-
I agree with Oliver.. we do it this way all the time for allocation of MDF funding and the like.
-
ahh.. the peaceful sound of the Netsuite Crickets.. such a re-assuring sound. Guess the answer is no possible within Netsuite at this time.

Hi Honestly, use the tax nexus if you can... then you dont assign a tax to the client but rather NS picks up on the address and via the nexus assigns the proper tax.. I used to do it that way and it was nighmare to keep updated. Shaun
-
Hi Brian Right now we do exactly what you've done.. but then create a $0 SO in the system and a $0 PO in the system to both track it's return and who it's for. In the memo field we reference the case number and document why this is a $0 transaction. Hope this helps.

Hi! If you have default vendors for particular sku's it's not that hard.. but really just go to "transactions/inventory/order items" and the mass list of what you need ot order base on your SO's will be presented.. just do a pull down of the vendor, enter the the price and confirm the qty's and you will do what i believe…

Hi Unfortunately not for shipping. Items pickup on the change of nexus and fix themselves according to the correct nexus.. But shipping does not. I even went in and scripted an action to ensure that "onsave" it corrects.. and while it "looks" like it corrected the taxes the overall transaction value did NOT change. No one…
-
Hi, I actually filed an issue in regards to this in that taxes should pickup based on the shipping location chosen.. While this occurs whent the transaction initiates and while the taxes correct when the default shipping is changed.. THE SHIPPING TAXES DO NOT. ( at least in the Canadian edition using Nexus ). Be careful as…

Hi Folks, I'd like the same option for Invoices as well as pretty much every document we touch. All too often my staff accidentaly press "email" instead of "print" ( we write some verbiage in outlook and then attach a PDF document ). Shaun
-
Hi! We're not as complicated in that regards as our vendors are, for the most part, a single currency. When we do buy from a supplier that for a particular transaction needs us to charge us USD instead of CDN ( especially when the dollar collapsed last year ) we just created a new vendor. So Tech Data was CDN and then we…
-
Hi I agree with Oliver - the destination on a drop ship is your Customer and shouldnt be a Vendor as that would be your source of product. It would also be the same thing even if you pick Special Order the only difference there is that the ship to field on a Special Order defaults to your company and not the Customer. If…

moi aussi!

Same issue.. Had my staff emailing stuff out willy-nilly till i disabled most of this. I find it odd that there is not ability to control this process a bit better and as the original poster had mentioned, we too would like to have the ability to auto attach or generate another PDF to go along with our Estimate or Invoice.…

Hi, Experienced a similar issue a couple of years ago with both v7 and v8 while using IE where the PDF's would come up blank and Netsuite "hang". I switched to Firefox ( just for using netsuite ) and havent had a PDF related issue since ( and using Adobe v9 ). I know it's not a fix - but give it a try. Shaun

We Levy a 2.5% per month Late Fee as well... but right now just as a manual process ( ie. a line item on the original transaction ) but would be interested along with sjohnson to see if there's a more automated way of doing this. Shaun
