Thanks @Jam Amper-Oracle The Suiteanswer seems to suggest the system does validate the item name (not the display name), so it should not be possible to create duplicate names. Is that correct? It doesn't specify whether it is not possible to create duplicate items names for different item types though

@Robert Nedelkow-Oracle The embedded video doesn't appear to work (it's not possible to click it)

Hi @Divya Unnikrishnan I have tried the join for applying transaction and it retrieved nothing. I am after a saved search which shows all the transactions a customer refund was applied to. For example, which customer deposit transaction the customer refund was applied to. thanks

Thanks @Honey Soe I was after the equivalent for vendor payables(not so much employee expense reports). i.e. setting the default for vendor bills.

Thanks @Red Velasco-Oracle The problem with scripts or workflows is, that assumes the transactions enter NetSuite. If the transactions fail at the connector stage, they never end up in NetSuite so no alternative routing is possible. The Farapp/NetSuite connector is a locked NetSuite bundle. It isn't possible to change how…
-
Hi @Red Velasco-Oracle The suggestions for workarounds that you have suggested will not work as: It is not possible to create a sales order from a POS farapp connector. The order is already fulfilled so the connector throws an error. The only available transaction types are sales orders and cash sales for the connector. So…

Thanks @Chelsea Jacobs The accounts are already inactove but good idea on filing a aupport ticket
-
@Jam Amper-Oracle do i need to create a new thread?
-
@Red Velasco-Oracle Just wanted to chekc this point too: Some middleware/integrators (like FarApp or Celigo) have an option to “force create” a transaction regardless of stock availability. I don't believe that setting exists in the NetSuite Connector (aka Farapp).

@Red Velasco-Oracle : Bumping this up again. did you see my last few posts?
-
Thanks @Chelsea Jacobs I have other credit card accounts. Those are linked to employees ('corporate card by default'). These ones aren't
-
Hi @Ayitah Tallada-Oracle I have done that. That only filters individual prepayment transactions and not net amounts or anything fully applied

Hi Chelsea This is a new Netsuite account with very few transactions. The account in question is a credit card account. It hasn't been listed anywhere as a default. Thanks

@Red Velasco-Oracle Any updates on this?

I found the answer: I was creating a generic group (Lists>Relationships>Groups) when I needed to create a resource group(Lists>Employees>Relationship Groups)

I have worked out the reason myself. The loan and investment accounts did not have the elimination subsidiaries included on the account set up. They only had subsidiary A and sibsidiary B The entries from the system generated elimination journal would post to the accounts i.e. Dr Loan Cr Investment Asset in the elimination…
-
@Cherry Eunice B Licyayo-Oracle The issue here is the journal wasn't generated.
-
Yes @Pratik Teredesai-Oracle THe question is still unanswered The steps provided to create a primary contact did not resolve the issue as i had already done that
-
Hi @Cherry Eunice B Licyayo-Oracle Create 2 accounts: 1 current asset and 1 current liability Mark both for elimination Create am advanced Intercompany journal Ensure that the lines with the current asset snd current liability account have "eliminate" checked and the name of the other subsidiary. Run the month end close…

Hi @Red Velasco-Oracle Thanks for your response. I can't see the 'Allow Negative inventory' preference in Global Preferences; Enable Features; or Accounting Preferences. Where would this preference be? All references to this setting, in the NetSuite Help topics and Suiteanswers, is in relation to the Enhanced Validation…
-
@Pratik Teredesai-Oracle I had already done that before testing

Hi @Pratik Teredesai-Oracle and @Angela Bayliss I am using a sales order transaction
