We are seeing the same problem in a web services app that is run once a month. Last month everything was fine - on Monday this app fails with this error message on the first request after login. We've rebuilt using 2.5 but the problem persists. We're using Java & Axis. Best regards Alan

Here in the UK we can achieve this by basing the customised reports on one of the VAT reports (eg. VAT on Sales Detail). These reports provide bothe the amount and VAT amount, which you can add together with a formula field to get the gross. Perhaps this will work for you by customising a Tax report...? Best regards Alan

khultquist, thanks for this. It doesn't work unfortunately though. The Bin Number join gives access to the Bins sublist. With advanced binning enabled the use of this sublist is optional: items can go into any bins not just those on the Bins sublist. The join that must be used to get the bins an item is in is the Inventory…

Brilliant. Thanks Yang, that did the trick. Note that the UI is misleading at present as the formula popup button is available on inline html fields. Thanks Alan

Hi Yang Yes I can, but the resulting payment is not applied to anything. It has no "apply" lines and adding one programatically does nothing. When the payment is saved its full value shows as unapplied in the UI. Thanks Alan
