We are trying to use Service Logistics for our Business

Below is the snippet from Oracle Documentation but need more clarity where these business process would be used while actual implementation

What is the difference between these 2 Business Process while defining Service Activities- Customer Support and Parts Exchange

  • Customer support: Select to set up service activities related to parts sales and returns
    • Issue - Don't see any option to ship the Part
  • Parts Exchange : Select to set up service activities for parts exchange (broken part is returned by customer and replacement part is shipped as part of the transaction
