Customizing the Employee Confidential Permission to Include Compensation Information
Did you know that you can customize the Employee Confidential Permission to give managers increased control when accessing the data of their direct reports?
With the Advanced Employee Permissions feature enabled in your account, one of the standard permission that you get out of the box is the Employee Confidential Permission. This is designed for managers with built-in restriction of Subordinates only. You can also add this permission to any role including a customized Employee Center.
You can customize the Employee Confidential Permission to give managers the ability to view the compensation data of their direct reports which is beneficial in making important decisions to effectively manage their employees.
