CSS Changes Tone Down NetSuite's Bold New Look

edited Dec 13, 2019 11:38PM in General 3 comments

The Sylish plugin is available on both Firefox and Chrome. It allows for easy management of user CSS overrides. To use the CSS below you do the following:

Install the 'Stylish' plugin using the add-ons section in FF or the extension area in Chrome

Log in to the NetSuite new release beta

Click the stylish plugin

Mouse of 'Write New Style...'

Select the beta domain

Between the '{ }' insert the CSS below

You can now activate the CSS overrides by clicking on the stylish plugin
This is a rough override that attempts to reduce the vertical height of record pages in Netsuite. It has minimal effect on dashboards. I also have not tested this in every area of NS. I am sure that this method is not considered as a best practice but it does use the browsers built in feature of allowing the user to override CSS rules. The plugin just allows for easy management of user CSS overrides.
