How to display Actual Ship Date on Fulfillment?

edited Jan 26, 2023 10:24AM in Accounting / ERP 5 comments

We are experiencing a situation where [occassionally] the warehouse will generate a fulfillment and the fulfillment date = today. But maybe they won't put it to a "shipped" status for one week.

We would like to know the ACTUAL SHIP DATE for this fulfillment.

I see that we can reference the 'actual ship date' on the Sales Order, but often we have many fulfillments to one sales order [due to items shipping at different times]. So, we just want the actual ship date on the fulfillment itself.

In our company ultimately, we would like the ACTUAL SHIP DATE = INVOICE DATE. But we do not know how to accomplish this, so having the ACTUAL SHIP DATE on the fulfillment would allow us a place to start.
