Adding A Custom Item Field to Cart Summary in Vinson Checkout

edited Oct 18, 2023 1:21PM in Web Site / E-Commerce 6 comments

I've looked in all the help files I could find. Tried everything I could based on things that used to work with RC 2.0.5 but I can't get custom item fields to display in Vinson.

Has anyone added custom item fields to the checkout cart summary in Vinson?

Though I admit it was hit or miss in RC 205, and not all custom item fields would display even after following all the help files, there should be some approved method for adding a custom item field to the item cells in Vinson.

I tried a lot of different methods. The last thing I tried was: Adding the custom field to SuiteScript.json in SspLibraries, then to ItemsKeyMapping, then that to ItemViews.Cell.Navigatable.View.js and finally onto item_views_cell_navigable.tpl.

Howdy, Stranger!
