Unwanted html imbedded into NetSuite entries.

edited Nov 4, 2020 6:43PM in Ask A Guru 1 comment

We occasionally have entries in NetSuite that appear to contain imbedded html - such as line breaks. They look something like this.

<br /> Paragraph here <br /><br />Sentence here <br /><br />Paragraph here <br />Sentence here <br /><br />The last sentence here <br />

This happens every so often to a few different NetSuite users. It does not happen to everyone, and it does not happen consistently to those who have this issue. Is there a way to force NetSuite to strip out the control characters or make them invisible?

Thank you in advance.
