Item sitting in limbo

edited May 26, 2022 3:36PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Hello!

We are having an issue with one of our inventory items. According to the system, it was received a couple months ago (now a closed period), but it looks like the bin in which it should have gone in, wasn't set on the inventory item, so it got received without a bin.

We are now having an issue trying to issue the item to a work order. According to the WO, the item is committed and we have 1 on location, but since it hasn't been assigned to a bin, it does not show up as available.

How can I get this item back on a bin? It currently looks like it was received, but not received to any bins, so netsuite-wise, we are not sure where the part is.

Howdy, Stranger!
