In SuiteScript: How to trigger "approve" event type without pressing the button?

edited Feb 13, 2023 8:29PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

Hello community,

I am trying to trigger "approve" event type of sales order without pressing "Approve" button.

I can change "orderstatus" field from "Pending approval" to "pending fulfillment", but this is "edit" event type, not "approve" event type.

I tried to use N/action module but it only supports few actions. (refer to https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_1516982564.html)

Is there a way that I can programmatically trigger an user event "approve" event type?

Thank you for your support.
