Earliest Sales Order create date on Project Record

edited Nov 17, 2023 7:05PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Hi,

We do fixed bid work and use Project records to track our projects. A project becomes active when the first sales order linked to that project is created, and this is an important date from which we measure certain activities.

Is it possible to create a field on the project record that shows the date the earliest sales order against that project was created? Another option might be to show or use the earliest earliest Opportunity Actual Close Date.

If creating custom fields is outside the scope of this forum, is it possible to create a project custom search that shows this earliest sales order date without repeating the project records?

Howdy, Stranger!
