Subsidiary default when using project template in OneWorld

We use project template to create project. I've set the subsidiary on the template to MAG. Our customer has primary subsidiary as MHL (top level parent), other subsidiaries are listed on the customer. So when the project is created, even though template is set to MAG, project subsidiary shows MHL. I'm wondering if you are able to replicate this on your end. And what would be workaround? It's best if we can still have customer primary subsidiary as MHL. But if we have to set the primary subsidiary to the proper one, we can do that.
