Do Matrix Items help with Sales Orders in NetSuite UI, or are they only a benefit in SCA?
We have multiple items sold in different lengths / widths etc. We didn't use Matrix items on implementation (rightly or wrongly).
When we search for a type of Item (e.g. tf90) on a Sales Order, we get a list of the matching items:
I've just created a test matrix item (testmdf) to see if this would improve the user experience:
It seems to be identical? I was assuming selecting TESTMDF would then give me the drop downs to select the matrix item based on its definition?
I've seen a number of articles suggesting that matrix is only really for SCA web users. Is that because the internal experience is largely the same with/without Matrix?
