NSC | How to Prevent Item Quantities in a Specific Location from being Sellable?

Scenario

The user wants to prevent an item from being sold at a specific location. This can be useful if, for instance, the user is experiencing temporary shipping issues for a specific item in a warehouse. This will prevent employees in the company from accidentally selecting that item to be sold at that specific location.

Solution

You can refer to SuiteAnswers ID 70244 on Inventory Status.

According to this article, this feature enables you to associate attributes to items to drive internal processes. For example, you can create an Inspection status for items that are pending quality control inspection.
