NSC | Reports > Incorrect Est. Unit Cost

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:44PM in Accounting / ERP

Scenario

User wants to know the Est. Unit Cost is not reflecting correctly in the reports.

Solution

Most commonly, when Est. Unit Cost reflected in reports is incorrect, it is advisable to edit the Sales Order to retrigger the Cost Estimate Type or Est. Extended Cost field. To trigger this refresh, you can delete the item in the line item then add it back.

After refresh, we can see that the correct values are already reflecting in the reports. However, you might be wondering why this does not work with Sales by Item Detail Report. Don't worry! It is a standard behavior.
