Item Commitment Transaction Ordering - Cash Sale Transactions
We have our Item Commitment Transaction Ordering setting set to 'by Expected Ship Date'. This appears to work well for us in most cases.
However, we have just had an instance where a Sales Order was created for 2 items where the location only had those 2 items in stock. Before the Sales Order was fulfilled, another user raised a Cash Sale and was able to sell the 2 items on the Cash Sale.
I'm not sure how the commitment logic would work in this scenario as I don't believe the Cash Sale transaction has the 'Expected Ship Date' field?
Is this the expected behaviour, or might there be another setting that is causing this to happen?
