Mass Update "YTD Sales" for Customers
We have a simple saved search that lists every customer who has purchased from us this year, groups their sales amount, and then I'll periodically do a CSV import to put that "YTD sales" number into a custom field on the customer record. There HAS to be an easy way to do this automatically.
Can we:
[LIST=1]
[*]Use a scheduled mass update to pull the values from this saved search and load them into the YTD Sales field?
[*]Use a formula in the mass update field to update "YTD Sales"
[*]Create a small SuiteScript that sums up a customer's sales for the year that either runs daily or when a transaction becomes a Sales Order.
