Help Text Popup Information does not update for custom CRM fields?

Hi,

When I create a new Custom CRM Field and apply it to my Case form (assuming I have not filled in any Help text under the "Display" tab) my field will have the default tooltip/help text when clicking on the field name and it will say, for example, "This is a custom field of type Text Area". 

If I update the Custom CRM field to have Help text, no matter whether I hide/show or add/remove or move between subtabs, the Help text never updates.  The only way to update the help text (apparently) is to either delete and recreate the custom field (making sure to populate the Help text the first time the field is created) or to change the ID of the field.
