Getting Sales tax data is a ongoing problem

We have been chronically late with our Sales tax payments to Illinois because we can't figure out a good way to get the data needed to fill out the state's tax form.  I WISH NS would make one standard "sales tax report" that would gives us all the data that we need for the state's form and then we could just set any date range and see the data that we need.

I'm sure other states have a similar sales tax forms.  How do you other NS users get your data?
