Reports using rolling relative dates
Who created the list of date choices in date fields on reports?
So, so, so many reports I want to run are based on simple length periods that roll or are relative to a specific rolling date in time (e.g. last 30 days, 30 days to-date, 30 days before to 30 days after today). Yet everything I choose seems to not get me where I want. I either get something in the past, something in the future, or some limited range I can't modify without creating a fixed date in time which is completely useless.
Why not just make this a simple to/from field with simple pull down units that the period lengths can be chosen:
