Search for outstanding PO items - Can you help please?

I'm trying to create a search which I thought would be simple - and I'm hoping it is for someone else, since I'm going round in circles! Can you help please?
Basically I want to create a report/search which will show me all outstanding items from a particular supplier. We use drop shipping a lot and therefore we submit lots of small orders to our suppliers. We really need to be able to produce something that will list all of the items that have not been despatched by the suppliers, not all of the orders that have not been shipped. This way we can identify if there are particular products that are outstanding and take the necessary action.
