Need a saved search on Contact > Communications > Messages

I need to write a saved search to count the number of emails that are being sent out by our sales reps.  The data appears on the contact record on the Communication > Messages tab, but for the life of me I can't find a saved search type under Reports > New Search that will give me access to this data. :h_a_w:

Can anyone shed any light on how I can produce a saved search to count emails sent by sales reps within a given date range?
