Mirroring Sales by Sales Rep Report as a Saved Search

I am trying to recreate the Sales by Sales Rep Report as a saved search because i need to add some formula field columns that the report builder will not allow.

I've tried this multiple ways that i THOUGHT would work and it didnt. Has anyone successfully accomplished this?

To define "successfully accomplished" i mean, you could pull the saved search, and the report up next to each other and they show the same results.

If so i would greatly appreciate some help in setting up the criteria/results of the saved search.
