Transaction Dates This Week vs Last Week

I have a saved search to calculate sales and GP% by item, and the criteria is any transaction with a date within this week OR within last week. I need to split the results in to columns for this week and last week, but I'm having a lot trouble figuring out how to get 'trandate is within this week' and 'trandate is within last week' in to the formulas. Is there a way to do this? I found a lot of information on months, but I can't see a clear way to get weeks.
