Copying GL Balances from one Netsuite instance to another one

I'm new to all this.  Would like help to see if this can be done and is it through web services?

Looked at the document SuiteTalk (Web Services) Records Guide but cannot see indication on this can be done.  Have I looked the wrong place.  Any direction?
