Are there open requests for a full country list?

I found several old threads in this forum about "country", and a few of them mentioned request IDs, but I couldn't find them in the support system. 

So I'll ask again:  can we get an enhancement so that I can resolve the country enumeration value ("_unitedStates") returned as part of a Contact into a display string like "United States"?

Yes, I see the html on the site for a 3 column chart, but as soon as I prune that in an editor (tedious!  error prone!) and serve it, there will be changes to the country list.
