Opportunities to Close Reminder

The reminders dashboard item allows one to show the number of opportunities to close, which links to a list of all open opportunities.  However this shows every single open opportunity out there.  Is there any way to make this reminder only show opportunities as they relate to the rep logged in?  e.g., Sales rep Smith doesn't care about Sales rep Bob's opportunities so I would like Smith and Bob to not see the entire list for all reps as a reminder.  Thank you.
