Internal Cases - help desk

I want to use cases for an internal help desk.  However Netsuite seems to force the the entry of a company in the case form.  I've modified a case form to include everything else I want, but I can't seem to get rid of the company field, as its required.  Is there any way to get rid of that field.  It is not needed for internal issues, and just causes problems, automatically filling in the email field, which I don't want.  Thanks.
