Restricting items by customer?

I want to restrict which items are available to customers when a sales order is entered.

For example, when I create a new sales order for Customer 1, I only want to limit the item list to show A, B and C only.  However, when I create a new sales order for Customer 2, I want items C, D and E in the list.

How do I set up these restrictions?  Right now, all the items (A-E) are in the list so any item can be sent to any customer.  Thanks.
