Sales Orders, End Date: What does it do?
Hello All, I have a question about the end date field on sales orders. Obviously there is a field for it, but what does it do? If anything?
My sales staff wants to use it and i was going to activate the field for them. But before i do, i want to know if it has any function when that date is met.
I poked around the message boards and help documents but couldn't find much beyond, "If this order has an end date, enter or pick it here. If a sales order includes a Start Date and End Date, those dates autofill on the invoice or cash sale when the order is billed." and "In the End Date field, enter the date this sales order is no longer valid. " No longer valid? Means what?
