Different customers, same name - lose all inputted information
Many of our customers are individuals, and its causing an issue with common names.
If a rep fills out customer/lead form completely, clicks save, only get the message that the customer name already exists, they lose all inputted information and have to recreate the record with something unique in the "name" field. I understand that the "name" field must be unique, but is there a way the system can append a "1" or something to the name field like it does online, so that we don't have to go and re-type the complete record all over again?
Thanks,
