Last Activity field (not just for Sales)
Our company has a support staff that works with the sales team. They follow up multiple times with the customer after a sale and record their activities in NetSuite. We are trying to setup a portlet in a custom dashboard to inform them when they are overdue to follow up with a customer based on their last contact and the type of customer. It would be pretty easy to drive this off of the Last Sales Activity field. However, it doesn't update for support activities.
Essentially, we are looking for a Last Support Activity field or some way to get the Last Sales Activity field to include their efforts (without giving them a Sales Role). Before we do some customization ourselves, I thought I would ask if there is something like this already available or have I easily missed something?
