Issue when merging email templates in FireFox, Chrome

Hello,

We are having troubles when sending emails from NetSuite using FireFox or Chrome browsers. We use email templates where we have links to our external applications that include <NLID> tag. Example: 

<a href='http://www.domainname.com/step1update.aspx?ns_lead_id=<NLID>'><font size="3" color="#0000ff"><b>http://www.domainname.com/step1update.aspx?ns_lead_id<font color="#ffa500">=<NLID></font></b></font></a>
