Service for Sale/Resale?? (HELP!! I've been trying to solve this for years)
My business (software localization) has a mixture of services for sale and services for resale, and mostly this works fine in Netsuite.
But on almost every quote/order/invoice, I have a line item that goes like this:
Translation, Editing from English into Arabic
-> The translation is outsourced to a translator
-> The editing is outsourced to an editor
It's one service to the client but split into two outsourceable services at two different rates to two different vendors.
In the past I've made this service a "service for resale" and we've manually edited the descriptions on purchase orders to reflect whether its translation or editing.
