Newbie Question - Pass Variables to Pop-UP Window

Hi all,

We have a process for requesting Special Price Quotes for line items; We have created a custom record type which a user can call from the oppty line;

The problem is the custom form being called does not pass the oppty information from the oppty. (Eg Op_ID, Cust_ID)

Basically, when on the line item, user clicks "add new SPQ", i want the Oppty_ID information passed to the new SPQ.

How do i pass these values using a script?
