Collect all customers internal id

How do I fetch the internal id for the latest customer?
What I would like to do is create a new task for every single customer in NS. What I had in mind was to create a scheduled script to perform that.  Searchrecord might do the trick but as far as I know the maximum return of rows limited to 1000. Which means if I have more than 1000 customers I’ll problems?
