GetFieldValue on Hyperlink field returns wrong value
FYI, I noticed that nlapiGetFieldValue/nlapiSetFieldValue on a hyperlink field returns and sets the display text value respectively. This IMO is not correct. GetFieldValue/SetFieldValue should get/set the value in the href field.
To make this work properly, hyperlink fields should be handled the same as select fields (e.g. Get/SetFieldText gets/sets the display text and Get/SetFieldValue gets/sets the href value).
In order to update the href value, I need to completely handle outside the NetSuite APIs using DOM calls.
