Updating Field Value beforeLoad Server Side?
Is it possible to update a field value before the record loads for the user, server side? Why does the following not work?
function beforeLoad(type, form) { if (type == 'edit' || type == 'create') { var newRecord = nlapiGetNewRecord(); var a = newRecord.getFieldValue('custbody_a'); var b = newRecord.getFieldValue('custbody_b'); if ( a && !b ) { form.setFieldValues({'custbody_b':a}); } } } Why can't I do this server side?
