Custom Button to Open new record and Populate data
hi,
I want to create Transfer order from Item Receipt.
In such a way that new Transfer order record will open in new window,
and populate few details from item receipts.
Earlier we did it by customizing the form and adding custom Action button to it through client script. But the button is not visible in view mode.
so we used user event script to add button on page load, (form.addButton)
but it is not resolving our issue as it is not able to take the reference of transfer order record anymore.
So we are sending the predetermined number of parameters through GET method and trying to fill the same in Transfer order. This has a drawback that if line items increases then it will fail.
