Auto Generate Promotion Code

Hi,

Just asked Netsuite and it's not possible, but is it possible to do this via script?
I know I still lack the skills of scripting but I want to try.

what I want is a Code that is generated automatically per person, and when the customer uses it is automatically inactive or expired../.


Any suggestions?
