Custom column not showing on packing slip

Hi, I have created a custom transaction body field that is used on my sales orders.  It has the 'store value' boxed checked and it is working fine on the sales order.

I then created a new custom transaction column field that sources the custom transaction body field mentioned above.

The custom transaction column field has been set to apply to packing slips.

I created a custom packing slip transaction form that uses the new transaction column field but when I print the packing slip it only shows the title for the new column field but no values.  I've even tried changing the 'source' data for the transaction column field to another standard field but it still didn't display any data on the print out.
