Default Values In Custom Forms
Hi
Our sales reps are allowed to create customer records when preparing estimates/quotes. Our current form to create customer record automatically sets the name of the sales rep to the customer record, preventing other sales reps from accessing this customer record. We end up with duplicate customer record of the same customer.
As an admin, I am able to manually blank off the sales rep name of the customer record to allow access. But this does not solve the problem of multiple records being created. How do I set a default blank value for the field, so that customer records all viewable to all sale reps?
